Welcome to the Daughtry Elementary Media Center! I’m Ms. Solomon, your Media Specialist. I received my undergraduate degree in Information Technology from Macon State and my Master’s Degree from Georgia College. I love to read and explore new places. I love to help students find the perfect book to dive into and enjoy. I’m excited to begin this year and I am available to help you find books to read for pleasure as well as resource materials. Media Committee
The purpose of the media committee is to make decisions and recommendations about how the media center can best support the curriculum and learning efforts of the students at Daughtry Elementary School. The committee will ideally be composed of two teachers, the media specialist, the instructional coach, a community member, and a parent. This committee meets 2-3 times a year unless a book has been challenged or another need arises.
